K – 5 AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Recapturing the Vision International (RTV) offers Vision Smart Kids (VSK), an after school and summer camp for participants in Kindergarten through 5th grade. After school programs are offered at four locations in south Dade five days a week. VSK follows a structured design and offers comprehensive activities in the core areas of literacy, physical fitness, life skills, family engagement, and enrichment. The program goals are to improve participants’ literacy and fitness skills improve study habits and social skill development through social emotional learning. All activities occur in a safe, secure, and supervised environment. The program also offers opportunities for parent involvement through instructional activities, case management, and volunteering.

Grades 6 – 8 YOUTH ENRICHMENT AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Recapturing the Vision International (RTV) offers Vision Smart Teens (VST), an after school and summer camp for participants in grades 6, 7, and 8. Services focus on homework assistance, academic support, social emotional learning and the arts. Programming takes place for two hours, three days per week during the school year at two locations in South Dade.
