Founder and CEO of international educational nonprofit committed to developing America’s youth through the presentation of innovative programming focused on developing the core assets prerequisite to life success. Coordinate with Board of Directors to accomplish organization’s mission, goals and objectives.   Provide fiscal, strategic and managerial leadership to ensure long-term business strategies. Develop multimedia curricula. Provide oversight of the development and implementation of life-skills programs, counseling, and community services for students and families.

1994-present          Founder/CEO/President, Empowerment Concepts

Dynamic innovator, results-oriented leader with a strong track record of performance. Developed twelve curricula for educational and governmental use. These textbooks
has been utilized for over 20 years and is currently in circulation in Miami-Dade
County, Broward, Palm Beach County, Orange County and Dollarway in Florida’s
Public School System. Designed training series for key personnel and leaders. Has
keen analysis and insights to drive organizational improvements and implementation of
best practices. A consultant for business developments and staff management with
starting and existing business. Superior interpersonal skills and capable of motivating
staff to peak performance. Has excellent political connections and ties to the
community. Motivational speaker on empowerment topics for youth, women, and
organizational leaders.

1992-1994            Human Services Counselor, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Region V

Provided case management services to 550 children and families, exceeding job expectations and duties.  Provided academic and counseling services to students and families in need. Facilitated advocacy training skills to parents, while serving as the liaison for the community.

Provided regular, special education services (SES), and adult education services to students and adults of the Miami- Dade County Public Schools. Provided parent and crisis intervention trainings to faculty, administrators, parents and students in need.
